Animal Control Officer/Parking Enforcement (Full Time)

Position:                             ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER/PARKING ENFORCEMENT (Full Time)

Pay Range:                         $19.59 – $26.09/hr. (14 steps) plus excellent benefits

Requirements:  The Town of Exeter is currently seeking a full time Animal Control /Parking Enforcement Officer.  Under the direction of the Patrol Captain, is responsible for enforcing State and Town laws and regulations pertaining to animals.  Also, is responsible for the enforcement of Town Ordinances as they pertain to parking within Town limits. 

Qualifications:  Duties require knowledge of the care and maintenance of animals and parking enforcement procedures and policies equivalent to completion of a high school diploma along with advanced courses from a two-year college or technical school, and one to three years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Must pass a comprehensive background check.

State of New Hampshire Driver’s license required.
