Position: Government Camera Operator (Part Time, 29 hours/week)

Pay Range: $13.50/hour starting

Anticipated Start: As soon as possible.

Closing Date: Open until filled

 

Description:

The Town of Exeter is seeking a part-time Government Camera Operator. We are looking for someone who can work nights and weekends on a regular basis with office hours during the day. The primary role will be to film government boards and committees, live events, and work in the station's TV Studio on citizen produced programs. There are also opportunities to produce public access and educational programming.

Requirements: The applicant must have prior experience with video cameras and editing software.

  • Experience with multi-camera live switchers and PEG access media ideal, but not required. Tasks include: Camera operation
  • Video editing
  • Sound recording
  • Remote PTZ camera operation
  • Running AV equipment (PA speakers, projectors, lights, laptop, etc.)
  • Live event coverage
  • Research and development for TV Shows
  • Community outreach

A current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required. Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
