2024 Summer Concerts @ Swasey Parkway

Our Concert Series from June 20-August 8, 2024 from 6 pm-8 pm on beautiful Swasey Parkway.

Sing, dance, and have fun with our weekly Summer Concert Series

Each year our series showcases high quality artists featuring a variety of genres of music.  It’s one of Exeter’s best summer traditions.  Our department has been doing this series for over 30 years now!   

Location: Swasey Parkway 316 Water Street, Exeter.

Concert Times: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

June 20: New Legacy Swing Band Band: Entertains enthusiastic dancers and listeners throughout New England. Our extensive music library includes big band, jazz, swing, waltzes, Latin, rock n' roll, and R&B tunes from all music eras

June 27: The Rampage Trio: Is a high energy, rock & roll band Formed in 1990, everyone from Alice Cooper to ZZ Top and everyone in between factor in to the trio's ever-evolving sound. ​

July 11: Forside Funk: With a combination of soulful melodies, tight rhythms and electrifying horn sections, Foreside Funk takes you on a musical journey back to the golden era of funk. This eclectic ensemble of musicians knows just how to bring the party to life, infusing every performance with infectious energy and an unwavering commitment to the funky beat.

July 13: The Coastals: Delivers danceable soul music of the ages and can be customized from a core unit to a ten-piece dance party.

** Fireworks start after the band performs. **

July 18: Marc Berger and Ride: bring a well choreographed mix of deep country folk songs with touches of bluegrass, roots, Americana, a little spicy Cajun, and even a little indie with an effects laced lead acoustic guitar.

July 25: Downtown Dave & Deep Pockets: A mix of powerful, infectiously grooved originals, and one-off covers, done in their own Pocket’s style. They love to see people having fun on and off the dance floor, contributing to their unique shows. The Pockets thrive on a solid rhythm section, passionate guitar, inspiring harmonica, and heart felt vocals.

August 1: Dan Walker Band: This all-in-one, fun, upbeat dance band is what your celebration needs! Smooth vocals and melodies evolving from an array of roots, blues, country, rock and reggae influences.

August 8: Michael Vincent Band: Now 18 years later and still going strong the band's music has a polish of mirror shine. Staying true to their blues roots and commitment of sharing their music, they continue to perform for audiences in some of highest regarded venues in the country
