America 250 Commemorative License Plates
Exeter, NH - March 10th, 2026: The Exeter 250 Celebration Commission and the Town Clerk's Office is pleased to share the news that the NH Department of Motor Vehicles has unveiled a new America 250 Commemorative License Plate Cover.
To commemorate America’s 250th Anniversary of Independence and celebrate New Hampshire’s proud revolutionary heritage, the State of New Hampshire is introducing a commemorative cover plate. Proceeds from the plate sales will support historic and natural resource preservation in New Hampshire.
The cover plate may be displayed on the front of your vehicle in place of your normal license plate from Jan. 1, 2026 until Jul. 4, 2027. You are required to keep your regular registration plate on the rear of your vehicle. America 250 Commemorative Plates can be ordered on the NH DMV's website.
