To run for an elected Exeter Town Office, you must file with the Town Clerk

Filing Period - January 21, 2026 to January 30, 2026

Statements of candidacy may be filed at the Town Clerk’s Office, 10 Front Street, from the seventh Wednesday and end on the Friday of the following week before the town election during regular business hours.  Any candidate filing on the last day must file in person.  Clerks must be available between 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on the last day of the filing period.
