NH's Award Winning Community Media

Staff at Exeter TV joined colleagues from across the country in Boston last week for the annual Alliance for Community Media conference. The event was an opportunity for community media organizations to get together, learn from one another, and talk about the issues and challenges we deal with in our communities.

The event culminated in the annual Hometown Media Awards show honoring the most creative programs that address community needs, develop diverse community involvement, challenge conventional commercial television formats and move viewers to experience television in a different way. Exeter TV was thankful to be honored alongside fellow NH community media stations Bedford Community Television/WBNH Bedford Radio and Merrimack TV for achievements in the industry.

Most of all, the team here at Exeter TV was inspired by the important work being done by those in the community media industry across the nation to address the unique needs of their communities. We're proud to be a part of an industry dedicated to public service and look forward to applying what we learned at the conference to our day to day operations here in Exeter.
