On-Call Media Technician

Requirements: This position is primarily responsible for filming government meetings via live broadcasts and streams, creating videos to help departments and committees communicate with the public, filming and broadcasting public events, assisting the public with creating TV programming and content, photo and video editing, and providing audio/visual and technical support for government and public events. Hours vary based on needs of department and availability of other on-call staff. Max of 10 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications: Duties require knowledge of video cameras, video editing software, computers, social media and websites. Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows. Experience working with AV equipment and/or PC based video editing software is a plus. Must have a combination of education and experience that reflects the above qualifications.
