Description: The Town of Exeter is seeking a full time Office Manager. The Office Manager will be scheduled for 40 hours per week. This position is responsible for multiple administrative functions specific to the department including but not limited to time entry for payroll, accounts payable and purchase orders. This position processes credit cards, checks, and collects cash payments, deposits money and prepares end-of-the-day reports. This position interacts with the general public in-person and over the phone.

 

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Skills in accounting with knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel is preferred. Skills in the use of office equipment such as a computer, copier/scanner, postal machine, telephone, calculator and relevant software. Skill in public and interpersonal relations in a fast-paced environment. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, town officials, the business community and the general public.
