An on duty Exeter Police Officer will respond to animal control issues such as:
- Dog licensing requirements
- Nuisance animals
- Dog bites
- Dogs at large
Wildlife issues, complaints, or questions should be directed to the NH Division of Fish and Game at 603-271-3421.
Also, as a reminder, it is vital that all resident dog licenses are current with the Exeter Town Clerk's Office. All dog licenses expire April 30th of the current year and your dogs can be re-licensed at the Town Clerk's office located at 10 Front Street. This will assist the Police in returning dogs at large quickly and safely back home to their owners.
