Downtown Parking During the Holiday Parade

Exeter, NH - November 29th, 2023: This year the Exeter Police Department is attempting to alleviate some of the issues with the traditional "No parking after 2 PM" on the river side of Water Street ahead of the Annual Holiday Parade which takes place on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023. To achieve this, the department is allowing parking as usual along that side of the road and will instead close off a portion of parking spots in front of the Town Hall along Water Street and surrounding the Bandstand (as shown in the image above). The parade kicks off at 5:30 PM and the parade route will close to traffic around 5 PM and remain closed until the parade has reached Swasey Parkway.
