The Evolution of a Holiday

Kick off America’s 250th celebrations with EPRD at our educational presentation, The Evolution of a Holiday! Discover the past and present of the American Holiday, President’s Day, with Robin Shelgren from Learning through the Ages, participants will learn about our country’s presidents and the significance of George Washing and the Purple Heart while exploring fun facts and trivia about the U.S. Presidents.

Registration: Pre-registration is required (space is Limited). Registration for residents opens January 5, 2026. Non-resident registration begins on January 12, 2026. Registrations are accepted at the Exeter Recreation Office during our business hours, on-line, mail or by phone. (6) Minimum, (12) maximum.

Date & Time: Thursday, February 12, 2026. Presentation begins at 10:30am and will last about one hour, depending on Q&A.

Fee: $0/residents or $3/non-residents. Please make your check payable to E.P.R.D. Visa, MasterCard, Discover Apple Pay & Google Pay accepted. There will be a $20.00 fee charged for each returned check.
