Fall and Winter Programming Underway at Parks and Rec

Exeter, NH - November 10th, 2023: With Fall in full swing and Winter around the corner, Exeter Parks and Recreation has lots of programs for all ages. Here's a snapshot of some upcoming programming and other Parks and Rec news:

  • Holiday Block Party: Exeter Parks and Recreation and the Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce present the 2023 Holiday Block Part on November 30th to kick off the Holiday Season. Join us for the Festival of Trees and Gingerbread House Competition which fundraise for the Community Children's Fund. Also happening downtown will be arts & crafts, downtown shopping, holiday music from Party Time DJ, a performance from the Exeter High School Choir, and TEAM's Deck the Walls Art Show. Santa arrives at 5 PM to light up the Town with holiday cheer!
  • Letters to Santa: If you’d like your child to receive a personalized letter from the big guy, please send their wish list (with a return address) to 32 Court St. or use the Santa mailbox located outside of the Town Hall between November 20 - December 15, 2023!
  • 2024 Gunstock Ski & Snowboard Outreach Program: EPRD’s Youth Ski Program at Gunstock Mountain Resort (Gilford, NH) offers discounted season passes available to students age six (6) through Eighteen (18). Students are not required to attend lessons; however, it is recommended. More information.
  • Indoor Aqua Zumba: Known as the Zumba pool party, Aqua Zumba takes all the dancing fun of Zumba and brings it to the water for an exhilarating low-impact workout. For more information, visit the Aqua Zumba page or Aqua Zumba 50+ page.
  • Indoor Group Walk & Talk - PEA Field House: Join Exeter Parks & Recreation for our weekly, indoor walks at Philip Exeter Academy’s Field House. PEA has generously allowed us to use their indoor walking track to help keep our community moving! This is a great program for those looking to stay active and socialize with friends. No food or drink (other than water) is allowed in the field house. Parking is allowed on site (see directions below). We will meet as a group and enter the building together.
  • Tennis Courts Closed for Repairs: Until further notice, the tennis courts are closed for repairs. Stay tuned to our website and social media for updates on when the repairs will be finished. We appreciate your patience while we work through this project.
