Pickpocket Dam Feasibility Study - Public Informational Meeting
Tuesday, February 27th
7:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Town Hall - 9 Front St, Exeter

You may know that the Pickpocket Dam on the Exeter River, located on the Town border of Exeter and Brentwood, does not meet dam safety standards - options for its modification or removal have been under consideration for several years. The Town of Exeter hired a consultant to develop and evaluate alternatives to bring the dam into compliance. The draft of the Feasibility Study is now posted on Town’s website for public review and comment. The public information meeting will be an opportunity for the  community to learn more about the Feasibility Study but also ask questions and provide input on the Study. The public comment period will extend 30-days
and end on March 21st, 2024.

Comments and questions can be submitted via email to the Town at pickpocketdam@exeternh.gov or mailed to 13 Newfields Road, Exeter, NH 03833.

Watch the meeting live or on demand on Exeter TV

Meeting Objectives
• Present on the contents of the Feasibility Study
