Water/Sewer Collections Information

Water and sewer payments are accepted in person Monday through Friday at the Tax/Water/Sewer Collection Department at the Town Office.

Making a Payment

Our office accepts cash, check, money order, eCheck, debit and credit cards (fees apply.) Payments are also accepted online and by mail. Checks can be placed in the dropbox next to the front door of the Town Offices outside of business hours. Interest accrues at 12% annually (1% per month) if not paid by the due date noted on the bill.

Water Sewer Abatement Policy Procedure

This policy was adopted as amended by the Exeter Select Board on March 25th, 2019. This policy is administered under the Board’s authority pursuant to RSA 38 and RSA 149-1).

New Water/Sewer Rates Effective July 1, 2026

New Water and Sewer Rates: Select Board adopted June 29, 2026 Effective July 1, 2026, and implemented on October 30, 2026, bills

Effective July 1, 2026. The Selectboard adopted new water and sewer rates on June 29, 2026. The last rate change before July 2026 was in place since January 2024.

NH Water and Wastewater Rates Dashboard

The New Hampshire Department of Envirornmental Services has published the 2025 NH Rates Dashboard. The tool can be used by Municipalities as a tool during budget season to help guide decisions about water and wastewater rates, allowing communities to compare and benchmark rates, financial metrics, and other system performance measures with other communities across the state.
