Seeking Input - Review the Designs & Take the Survey

The Town of Exeter has contracted with CMA Engineers to create a community informed, climate-resilient plan to meet the current and future needs of Swasey Parkway and we want YOU to join the conversation.

We anticipate an increase in the regularity of flooding at Swasey Parkway with more frequent and intensive storms, elevated sea level conditions, and submerged storm drain outlets during tidal events.  We want to ensure development of this plan for the Parkway is completed with input and guidance from our community.

The public input sessions, including slides, are summarized and linked below.  We want your feedback on the alternative designs.  You can view the detailed plans at the link below.  Save them for reference then PLEASE USE THIS SURVEY TO SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS.

  • 1st PUBLIC INPUT SESSION:  The first step in this process was a public input session on December 1st, 2025.  A video recap and slides are available below.
  • ALTERNATIVE DESIGNS INPUT SESSION Insights from the 1st public input session informed the development of 3 conceptual designs, which were presented March 23rd, 2026 to obtain additional feedback.  Below you can find the slides from that session.
  • SELECTION OF PREFERRED ALTERNATIVE:  Public input will result in the selection of a preferred alternative and guide future development planning needs.
