Men's Group
Men’s Group
Build connections. Strengthen perspective. Take positive action.
Description: Connect. Reflect. Grow. We are launching a volunteer-facilitated men’s discussion group designed to provide adult men with a safe, welcoming space to connect, reflect, and support one another in navigating the challenges of everyday life.
This group is:
Open to adult men of all backgrounds
Peer-based and discussion-focused
Grounded in respect, confidentiality, and personal responsibility
Non-clinical, non-religious, and non-political
Developed collaboratively with Exeter Parks & Recreation
Our goal is to support the wellbeing of men in the community by fostering connection, self-reflection, and positive, practical action. Many men today experience increasing levels of isolation, stress, and disconnection — even while remaining deeply committed to their families, work, and communities.
This group helps address that gap by offering:
A sense of belonging and community
Opportunities for reflection and new perspective
Support during life transitions (fatherhood, career shifts, divorce, aging)
Practical tools for emotional awareness and personal growth
What a Typical Session Looks Like
Each gathering may include:
A brief welcome and check-in
Guided discussion around a relevant life topic
Respectful sharing and active listening
Emphasis on self-reflection, accountability, and positive action
A closing reflection or takeaway
This is not therapy or counseling, but a structured, facilitated peer-support environment focused on growth and conversation.
