Safe Sitter® Babysitting Class
Program Description: The Safe Sitter® class is a nationally recognized babysitting training program developed to prepare youth in grades 6–8 to become responsible, safe, and confident when caring for themselves or other children. With a hands-on, interactive curriculum, this course empowers preteens to manage real-life situations, make safe choices, and respond to emergencies. This class is ideal for middle schoolers who may be staying home alone, watching younger siblings, or beginning to babysit. It provides valuable life skills and increases maturity and readiness for real-world caregiving. This instructor-led class includes video-based learning, role-playing, group discussions, and CPR manikin practice to reinforce hands-on rescue skills. The environment is welcoming and fun, with interactive scenarios and confidence-building exercises. Students should pack a lunch.
