Description:Join Exeter Parks & Recreation and get a head start on your Spring gardening by starting seeds indoors! Learn how to start early seeds both indoors under lights and Outdoors using Winter Seed Sowing Techniques. Take home your seed setup(s) for transplanting outdoors in May. All materials and seeds are provided by the instructor. Take home your 12-pack propagator of starter seeds to watch for growth and plant outdoors in your garden in early May.
Instructor: Deb O'Day is the proud owner of Kensington Gardens Flower Farm which specializes in rare and unique dahlias. Flowers are her passion. The farm is a retirement project to share the beauty of flowers and the joys of gardening. You can find her out in the garden rain or shine with her hands happily in the dirt. She provides plants to local garden centers and cuts flowers exclusively to Cymbidium Floral. She offers workshops in the love and care of dahlias for all seasons.
Registration: Resident registration begins March 9, 2026. Non-resident registration begins on March 16, 2026. Registration is open to Exeter and surrounding towns, on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration accepted at the Exeter Multigenerational Community Center during our business hours, in-person, by phone, on-line or mail. Payment must be paid at the time of registration.

Fee: $10/residents or $15/non-residents. Please make your check payable to E.P.R.D. Visa, MasterCard, Discover Apple Pay & Google Pay accepted. There will be a $20.00 fee charged for each returned check.
