2026 Art in the Barn Showcase at Raynes Farm
ART IN THE BARN 2026 FUNDRAISER – 61 Newfields Road, EXETER NH
The Conservation Commission will be hosting an Art in the Barn Fundraiser Exhibition, showcasing various art from emerging and established artists throughout our region. All proceeds from this event will support maintenance and operation of Raynes Farm and future educational and community events onsite. The exhibition will be held at Raynes Barn on Saturday, September 26 th , 2026.
Key dates:
- June 30th, 4:30 pm - last day for artists to register
- Sept 8th, 4pm-7pm - last day for artists to turn in works of art
- Sept 26 11am-12pm Reception for all participating artists
- Sept 26 1pm-4pm
CALL FOR ARTISTS:
- Categories: painting, drawing, mixed media, printmaking, and photography
- Eligibility: Open to all artists high-school age and older in the Exeter area.
- Cost: $10 refundable check deposit (refundable upon submission) for an 8” x 8” birchwood cradled canvas. Canvas can be picked up Monday-Friday from 8-4:30 in the Planning Department at 10 Front Street.
- Application Deadline: Monday, June 15th
- Delivery: Artist delivers work to the Exeter Town Hall (old Town Hall @ 9 Front Street) September 8 th 4:00 to 7:00 PM (or by other arrangement).
- Artist reception: September 26th 11:00AM – 12:00 PM
- Each art piece will be available for sale at the ART IN THE BARN FUNDRAISER for $50. 100% of the proceeds supporting the maintenance and operation of Raynes Farm.
- We will include an artists statement, website or any information provided by the artist with each item sold.

ART IN THE BARN FUNDRAISER EVENT DETAILS:
Join us at Raynes Farm Conservation Area located at 61 Newfields Road, Exeter NH for our first annual Art in the Barn Fundraiser.
On September 26th from 1:00 - 4:00 PM, we will be showcasing the painting, drawing, mixed media, printmaking and photography of local artists. Each piece will be an 8"x8" canvas available for purchase at the fixed price of $50.
Work will remain on display through the event and can be picked up immediately after at 4:00 pm that day, or Monday, September 28th between 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM with all works cleared by 6:00 PM unless a prior arrangement has been made. No work is released before the end of the exhibition. Not responsible for unclaimed work after 14 days.
