Spring curbside leaf pick-up will be April 15th - 19th 2024 on your regular pick-up day. Please place your leaf bags curbside before 7am to ensure they are not missed.
Waste Management will pick up leaves and grass twice each year once in the spring & once in the fall. Dates will be established each year. The collection will be limited to 12 leaf bags per residence. Leaves must be in biodegradable paper bags. Leaves & grass can also be taken to the Transfer Station during normal hours of operation (no permit required). Leaves and grass are composted at the Transfer Station. The finished compost is free to Exeter residents.

2/23/2024: Late last night (2/22/2024) a water main break occurred at the intersection of Gary Lane and Court Street. Water service was shut off and remained off for some time during the repair. Residents in this area may experience discolored water.

Exeter, NH - July 13th, 2023: On Wednesday, July 12th , work began on pulling the first of two 12-inch sewer siphon barrels through the 18-inch pilot hole successfully drilled earlier this month.

11/16/2022: The Exeter Public Works Department along with the Select Board ended the Level 4 outdoor water use restrictions that were instituted on July 21st. No other water restrictions have been instituted at this time.

Update 1/8/24: Christmas tree pick-up will be delayed until the week of January 15th starting on Tuesday, January 16th with Monday's route. Due to the storm on Sunday and the upcoming windy weather tomorrow night.
