Westside Drive Area Utility Improvement Project

3/13/2026: Drain installation continues on Westside Drive and Scamman Lane during the next two weeks. The temporary paving schedule will be adjusted to align with inclement weather forecasts. See attached weekly work zone document for details.

3/2/2026: Neighborhood Meeting Notice - Westside Drive Drainage, Water and Roadway Improvements

The Town will be conducting a public information meeting on Wednesday, March 4th, 2026, at 6:30 PM at the Exeter Town Hall. The purpose of this meeting is to share information about the Town’s cost-sharing program for extending drainage services onto private property as part of the ongoing drainage improvement project. Please note that those properties receiving a drain service were marked with green stakes at the outset of construction. Representatives from the Town, the Town’s Engineering Consultant, Underwood Engineers, Inc., and the Town’s Contractor, N. Granese and Sons, Inc., will be present and there will be an opportunity for property owners to ask questions following the presentation (attached below for reference).

Water Service Interruption: There will be a temporary interruption of water service to the residents of Westside Drive while the old water main serving Westside Drive is disconnected.  

Scheduled Date:  Thursday, February 19, 2026 (weather permitting)
If postponed due to inclement weather, work will be rescheduled to Friday, February 20, 2026.

Water service will be shut off beginning at approximately 8:00 a.m. We anticipate service will be restored by approximately 2:30 p.m. Please plan for the possibility of a longer disruption should unforeseen issues arise.

We recommend preparing by storing an adequate water supply for the day. Suggested precautions include:
- Filling pitchers or containers with drinking water
- Filling sinks or bathtubs for household use
- Purchasing bottled water if needed
